Winter Roundup: Part 3

Rose gold strikes again! (and again, and again, you’ll see..)

A hint of rose gold can elevate a classic design from a basic solitaire to a romantic heirloom. I especially love pairing this metal with pastel colored gems, such as I did in this engagement ring for Alex and Molly.

Alex selected a radiant cut natural pink sapphire for the center stone, and I set out to fabricate a two-tone ring for the gem. When worn the ring looks as if it is made of just white gold, but a top down look gives the wearer a special treat. The rose gold inner band peeks through between white gold petals and sparkling gem. It’s a personal touch just for her.
