Holiday Shopping

What a big weekend! I need to send out the warmest, most heartfelt thanks to those who shopped the SF Made Holiday Fair and the White Barn Winter Fair this weekend. Having two successful shows back-to-back is more than a girl could ask for!

If you still need to shop for some jewelry gifts, the 20% Off Holiday Website Sale is still going strong. Over 100 items are in stock and ready to ship with complimentary domestic USPS priority shipping.

Truth be told, I’d really love to see you all again! So I’m hoping you’ll join me at my final trunk show of the season on December 22nd at Crown Nine. See their lovely flyer and trunk show lineup below. See you there!

Two Holiday Gift Fairs

It may be crunch time in my studio this month, but make no mistake: this is the very best time of the year. Gift fairs and trunk shows give me the opportunity to get out in the world and meet great people like you! Consider shopping with me one-on-one at either of the following events this weekend.

The first is the White Barn Winter Fair in St Helena, California. The fifth annual fair is held in the historic carriage house in the heart of wine country. Join us by the heat of a wood burning fire at this intimate shopping event featuring just a 20 artists from around the Bay Area. Ceramics, textiles, prints, home goods, and *ahem* jewelry are all up for sale in this laid back three-day event.

Friday 5pm-8:30pm – Preview Night ($15 suggested donation for the White Barn Arts foundation)
Saturday & Sunday – 11am-4pm
open to public

Next is the SF Made Holiday Gift Fair in the Fort Mason’s Fleet Room in San Francisco. SF Made is a non-profit organization which promotes the manufacturing sector in San Francisco. Their organization has helped to support the creation and innovation of hundreds of small businesses that foster local employment opportunities. Their roster of members features some of the best handmade goods around. Due to the large number of vendors, their Saturday & Sunday show will feature a different selection of businesses -so consider dropping by both days!

You will find me at this show on Sunday, December 8th 10am-5pm

If you can’t make it to the shows in person, you can still shop my collection online and treat yourself to 20% off with the code HOLIDAY20.

Happy Holidays!

Last week was a pretty huge milestone for Corey Egan Metalsmithing. COEUR LA was my very first wholesale trade show! It also marked my first show outside of the Bay Area. Below are some of the photos of my lovely booth at the Cooper Design Space, complete with brand new wooden fixtures and displays created by David Leggett.

COEUR was a relaxed, fun environment filled with incredible accessories, clothing, shoes and home goods. The show was held during LA’s fashion week on the 11th floor of the Cooper Design Space, which really was the place-to-be for fashion week shows and activities. I was fortunate to meet some incredible new retailers during this visit which will be announced in the weeks to come. Thanks for a great time Los Angeles! Until next time…

Urban Air Market, San Francisco

Big big things are happening round the shop as of late. Piles of jewelry are in the works as I prepare for a bustling holiday season and the introduction of some new stores to my set of stockists. All this activity would not be complete without a few appearances around town, so I’ll be vending at Urban Air Market next Sunday, August 18th in San Francisco. You’ll find this FREE one-day-only event at Pier 70 in San Francisco’s Dogpatch district. I’m a fan of the Dogpatch not only because I was married there this summer, but also because I feel it’s creative potential bursting at the seams. Throw in a couple of food trucks and some great shopping and it’s a done deal. Join me as I show off your favorite designs as well as samples and one-of-a-kinds for a steal!

White Barn Winter Fair 2012

In just three weeks I’ll be showcasing my collection at the 4th Annual White Barn Winter Fair! This event is sure to get you in the holiday spirit as you sip wine and hot apple cider in a fire-warmed barn in beautiful wine country. The shopping selection will be sure to please. In addition to jewelers like myself, you’ll also find stationery, fine art, textiles, artisan foods & coffee and more! 7×7 Magazine listed last year’s event one of the Top 10 things to do in wine country for the holidays.

Friday, November 30th is a special preview night from 5-8:30. With a donation of $15 to benefit nimbus arts you can have first pick of the goods and enjoy wine and desserts in the cozy atmosphere. The event opens with free admission the following morning. I hope to see you there!

The Unique Scene

Last weekend I participated in the first ever Unique SF at the Concourse Exhibition Center in SOMA. As with Capsule Design Festival last year, I teamed up with my trusty metalsmith pal Jenny Windler to showcase our latest collections of designer artisan jewelry. From the bottom of our hearts, we can’t thank the huge wave of supporters that showed up! You guys ROCK!

I was a bit remiss in my photography duties during the event, largely in part because of all the incredible things to see and fantastic freebies (tote bags, screen printed shirts, photobooth and libations? Yes please!) But we did find a few quiet moments between guests to snap a few shots of our setup. Enjoy!

Note my new banner and logo design by Jaime of The Point Collective, I’m so in love!

I used the same cases and setup from the Capsule with a few minor adjustments. The cases and boxes are now lined with an excellent textured linen that allow me to pin and hook necklaces for display. New photography and marketing materials made their debut. My newest collection “Runoff” (inspired by the patterns of running water on pavement) made its first appearance over the weekend.

Unique SF

You can catch me this month at the first ever Unique SF, vending alongside my comrade Jenny Windler. Entry is $10 and good for unlimited re-entry the full weekend. Don’t miss the list of to die-for-perks (including free libations, DIY workshops & limited edition tote bags) here. Bring some friends! It’s gonna be a blast!
